At Villa Real / Real
Care Ltd, there are
four experienced
practitioners who
are ‘forest school
trained’ with
Bridgewater College
B. Tec Level 3
Advanced Leaders
Award. We also have
four outdoor education
workers and hold an
AALA licence.
We can deliver forest
school activities tailor
made to suit your needs
at our own school site or
with an activities licence
in partnership with the
Forest Education
Initiative at Hamsterley
or Chopwell forests.
All risk assessments are
completed by our
experienced team.
The forest schools
activities can incorporate
team building, problem
solving, self esteem
raising, biodiversity and
conservation work or can
link to the National
Curriculum depending
upon your requirements.
We can deliver sessions
to pre schools, school
children from 4 to 19,
as part of extended
schools services, youth
groups and adults.
These sessions are fully
inclusive and can be
delivered to young people
with special needs
including learning
difficulties, physical
difficulties,
communication difficulties
etc. We can deliver the
sessions with a total
communication
approach incorporating
PECS and Teacch.
Our activities include
story telling around the
fire, camp craft skills
and camp fire cookery,
shelter building,
orienteering and trail
work, creative arts and
crafts such as mobiles,
picture frames and
charcoal making,
green woodworking
and tool work, local
biodiversity and
conservation work.
Literacy and numeracy  
Our orienteering activities
can be combined with
climbing, archery and zip
wires with prior
arrangement.
